2006 Diamond Creek Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Red Rock Terrace Diamond Mountain
|Vineyard:||Diamond Creek Vineyards|
Connoisseurs' Guide to California WinesAs usual, this deep and dense wine is simply too backward for drinking any time soon, but, also as usual, it has a fine sense of keen Cabernet currants and the palpable potential for very fine things ahead. It balances fruit with a deft touch of oak, and it never gives ripeness anything more than just due. It hints at layering even as it is closed out by tannin, and it needs a rest of some five to ten years.
