Duckhorn has grown into a fairly big producer by upscale standards, and it makes a lot of wine, some of which is not good enough for its high-priced bottlings. But, even its leftovers have usually been more attractive than this vaguely herbal, grassland-scented bottling whose hesitant fruit barely creeps into focus.
