Here is a moderately complex Chardonnay whose mix of toast, ripe apples, roasted grains and sweet cream makes for a fairly likeable and interesting wine. Still, there is a slight lack of fruit and real depth at work on the palate, and, while crisp and lively, it is just short of full commendation.
