Bright ruby-red. Subtly scented aromas of red berries and flowers. Suave on entry, then ripe, floral and nicely delineated, with modest flesh but good lift. The wine's ripe acids extend the finish, and the rather suave tannins spread out to coat the palate. A good showing.
