Red-ruby. Aromas of dark raspberry, mocha, coffee and nutty oak; less fruity and floral than the young 2007. Suave on entry, then creamy and sexy in the middle, with dark fruit flavors currently a bit overshadowed by oak and coffee. Finishes with spreading tannins. Offers good nervosite but less obvious sweetness than the '07.
