Bright golden-yellow color. Musky aromas of marzipan and clove lifted by a whiff of orange zest; slightly diffuse. Then juicy and cleanly made but with a faint herbal edge and only moderate lift and grip. Not up to the level of some recent vintages in dimension or verve. Slightly edgy on the finish. This medium-bodied Sauternes doesn't quite come alive in the glass.
