International Wine CellarRating: 91/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 130, January/February 2007 ($68) Light yellow. Bright citrus aromas are deepened by coconutty oak and sharpened by a candied ginger quality. Fresh and mineral-driven, with impressive energy to the orange and white peach flavors. A late note of candied violet adds complexity to the long, juicy finish. I could knock off a bottle of this in no time. Barruol suggests serving Condrieu with Thai food.
