More grapey and direct than it is layered or complex, this effort comes off as being a bit on the blunt, brawny side on the palate where its ripe black cherry, blackberry flavors are met by a wave of imposing tannins. And while the wine has no technical flaws, it also does not fully succeed.

A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, and 3% Syrah compose this red wine. Rich and complex aroma with notes of boysenberries, mint, and chocolate covered cherries; a full-bodied wine with well structured tannins and an excellent finish.
