good but still young in 2010 12/2011 opened immediately upon pouring and developed very quickly. tad alcoholic on the nose in the beginning but softens up gradually. good showing for a 2005, but as before it has many good years ahead. 03/13 decanted for 3 hours. silky with good balance. good showing of a top level burgundy, as well as a 2005 pedigree. solid bouquet and long finish. excellent with the Asian style duck confit. 04/13 drank this post dinner on its own. developed clearly over the 2 hours. enjoyable just as it is.
