Scattered suggestions of tobacco, leather and briar are juxtaposed with those of red plums and cherries in this solid, but unspectacular wine. While we like its fruity direction, it tends to soften and dry as it goes, and the woodsy spice and slight tannin that show at the end are a scant step ahead of the wine's fruit.
