Loosely knit elements of berries and caramelly oak are joined by a faint element of earth in the nose that manages to make its way into this medium-full-bodied offering's slightly dry, vaguely chocolatey, soft-centered flavors as well. Ripe, yet a bit lacking in real extract, the wine is never complete and wants for better focus and depth.
