  • Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines
Soft, caramel-like sweetness overlies a muddled mix of indistinct fruit and slight earth in the nose, and, while clean and not at all problematic on the palate, this wine is not especially expressive with respect to Cabernet fruit, and its tentative themes of ripe cherries fade a little too soon.
