Sweet cherries, chocolate and creamy oak abound in the nose of this well-filled and outgoing wine, and there are no surprises on the palate as its follows with nicely stuffed flavors that lean in the direction of ripeness. Full, fairly rounded and just a touch viscous in feel, it comes without the need of long aging, and its modest tannins will start to resolve with a brief two to four year stay in the cellar.
