9% Cabernet Franc; 7% Cabernet Sauvignon; 6% Malbec. An underplayed note of cherryish fruit sits behind overt elements of tobacco and dried herbs in the nose here, and, while reasonably ripe, the wine never quite finds full fruity focus in the mouth. It runs into grabby tannins and dries out as it goes but is sure to soften a bit with age.
