The emphasis here is always on exceptionally pure, elegant, finely etched Pinot Noir fruit. Jean Grivot wines are well-balanced, and never too alcoholic or tannic. They are consistently among Burgundy's best, and drink well young, but also have the unusual quality of aging very nicely.
