This nicely structured Merlot takes on complementary themes of attractive cherryish fruit and caramelly oak in its mid-volume aromas, and it reprises both in flavors that are rounded and fairly supple in palatal impact. While not all that high in tannin, the wine is solid enough for a few years of age but does not demand it.
