mostlycharmlessdeep ruby colour with purple hue lightly toasted oak (old french?) blackberry, plum, cherry - ripe but not over the top hazelnut black pepper, clove woody toast, chocolate finish is slightly menthol body = med + acidity = med tannin = med but roughy mouthfeel = grippy then smooth finish = med + persistency = fruit and spice
