WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Yet another excellent 2005, proving what a fabulously consistent vintage thisis in Bordeaux. Typical southern Haut-Médoc Claret, quite perfumed withsoft black fruit and cassis characteristics followed by good structure andconcentration on the palate with tannins in abundance but so ripe that they arenot at all intrusive. It is perfect with roast lamb or partridge, and also withhard cheese. Do give it plenty of air if drinking now. (Alun Griffiths MW, BBR Wine Director)

International Wine CellarBright full ruby. Aromas of crushed cherry and raspberry. Supple but quite classically dry, even a bit peppery. Distinctly old-fashioned wine, finishing with slightly tough tannins but good persistence. Graves/Pessac-Leognan

SParker review: 'An attractive, reasonably priced offering, the 2005 Senejac exhibits subtlearomas of roasted herbs interwoven with scents of cedar, fruitcake, blackcurrants, and cherries... it will provide savory drinking over the next 10-12years.'(Robert Parker-Wine Advocate-Apr 08)
