Drink 2006-2018. Parker 86-88. Uncork, pour 1 glass: tight and tawny, then re-cork for one night. WOW; what difference a day makes! 2nd day it's as smooth as silk with a long cool finish! Hard to believe it's the same bottle!!! Parker notes: "Space limitations did not allow complete tasting notes for this Cru Bourgeois, but 2005 is the finest vintage for these wines since 1982. The range of scores for these wines should give readers an idea of just how consistent this vintage is at this level. Given the style of the vintage, most of these wines should be accessible young yet evolve for a decade or more because of their concentration and tannic structure."

from the tasting we purchased this wine from they mentioned 2005 was a good year for bordeaux because of the cool summer nights. <br/><br/>Very smooth and tasty for a lack of a more sophisticated discription:)

very smooth opens up in 10 min. become very mellow after 30 min. of breathing.

Lacking in depth and taste, but well balanced and easy drinking.

drank with filet, dry and good, not great with the food we ate.

nice chocolaty nose, but not fruity at all.
