Good full red. Redcurrant, raspberry, sour cherry and licorice on the slightly wild nose. Juicy and firmly built, even a bit tart in the way of young sangiovese. Boasts a good firm, tight core of fruit, with intriguing floral lift. I find this distinctly Italian in style. Needs to be poured with food.
