WINEMAKER'S NOTE
This full bodied wine offers a harmonious blend of fruit and savoury flavours. Rich dark cherries and plums give way to spice and truffle characters, as well as some dark chocolate and toasty oak. The palate is full and fleshy, structured with some firm and fine-grained tannins.

ejeffb2004Equal parts floral and dark fruit nose, very, very nice. exotic, fabulous, even better with some air. Wow, a noseful. Some spices, nutmeg, warm, nice, delightful. some saltiness on the nose! A little dirtiness too. very floral flavor, absolutely fantastic mouthfeel, tart finish, long finish, no heat, no wood. Awesome. the tartness is grapefruit!
