International Wine CellarMedium brick-edged red. Captivating nose melds strawberry, rose petal, minerals, cedar, tobacco and woodsy underbrush. Supple, silky and lush but with lovely nebbiolo cut giving it a downright suave character. This is deeper and richer than the '05 version, finishing with insidious sweetness and persistence. The crop level was up 10% to 15% in '04, even after a couple of green harvests, noted enologist Marco Dotta.
