2004 La Vieille Ferme Cotes du Ventoux Rouge
From the hillside vineyard in the ancient Côtes du Luberon, where the mistral cools the long Provençal summers, La Vieille Ferme white originates, a fruity, crisp, dry wine made from Rhône varietals: Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Ugni Blanc. The enhance complexity and roundness, 15% of the Grenache Blanc is fermented in small, new Limousin oak barrels. The wine has a lovely floral bouquet, hinting of spice, with fresh, lemony fruit.
Wine.comA lovely red/rose nose. Floral, a touch of aniseed and brown sugar. The delightful and distinctive character of La Vieille Ferme Rose is the judicious blend of 50% Cinsault, 40%Grenache and 10% Syrah.
