Made from mostly Tempranillo with a splash of Mazuelo grapes added to the blend, winemaker Julio Sáenz produces a very fine Rioja reserva. Sweet strawberry notes mingle with leather and a tad of smoke on the palate, making this a delicious accompaniment to lamb dishes.

clear. dark ruby colour. dark fruit and vanilla nose. lightishbody. red fruits upfront. touch tannins with vanilla length. good length. not as complex as expected.
