Blend: 99% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Petit Verdot The 2004 Hewitt Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford shows classic "Rutherford dust" flavors of milk chocolate and cocoa powder with maple, toffee and cigar box aromas. The wine is fruit-driven with lush black-cherry and blackberry jam notes. It has great length and finishes a little rough in its youth, but gently so. This lovely wine is unique in that this vintage represents the entire Hewitt Vineyard, not just one or two blocks.
