layne30WA 92+ (10/2007): The 2004 Keyneton Estate “Euphonium” Shiraz is purple-colored with fragrant aromas of toast, black cherry, scorched earth, pencil lead, and blueberry. Tightly knit but well balanced, it will need 5-7 years in the cellar to unwind and reveal its full potential. At that point, my score will look conservative. WS 89 (12/2007): Firm and generous with its ripe blackberry and licorice flavors, a bit leaner than most Shiraz but basically showing the grape's flavor profile. The structure is seamless and the wine has class. Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2011. 310 cases imported.
