There is a bit more ripeness implied in the nicely oaked, mildly melony aromas of this bottling than its crisply balanced flavors convey, but the wine still shows a fine marriage of richness and poise from entry through to its long, lightly stony finish. It is very much built in the typically firm and ageworthy Gary Farrell style and will show its best when drunk with meaty fish dishes.
