Built upon a solid foundation of blackberry fruit, this broad and fairly full-bodied Zinfandel is ripe without being dragged down by excessive heat, and it relies on well-managed tannins for a good sense of structure. It gains added richness by way of its judicious oak, and its remains convincingly varietal all the way through to a long, balanced finish.
