wadeAlex Lallos, JJ Buckley June 2009 Medium ruby core with a considerably lighter ruby / blood red rim. Up-front aromas of orange zest, ainse, and corriander wrapped around plush Rainier cherry and ripe blackberry. A hint of saddle leather and underbrush are present as well making the nose rather exciting and complex. Earthy flavors lead to more fruit driven notes of red apple, cherry, and rhubarb. This wine absolutely screams Coq Au Vin so try it with some meaty and rustic faire.
