Connoisseurs' Guide to California WinesSmelling mildly of green tea and cola, and at all points a bit tentative in fruit, this soft yet slightly narrow wine shows a smattering of red cherries here and there, but it wants for both filling and depth. Its relatively viscous beginnings are contrasted by a brief bit of finishing stiffness, and it lacks in varietal conviction.
