2004 Chateau Gruaud Larose
Dark yet brilliant ruby, between purple and black. The complex nose at first suggests notes of light tobacco and cigar box, and then opens up to notes of roasted coffee, red fruits, spices, and prunes. Ample and fleshy in the mouth, with plenty of body and density. Blend: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot.
