The Coudoulet de Beaucastel Rouge is made from Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and Cinsault. Each varietal is harvested separately, by hand, to assure optimum maturity and vinified separately to maintain its own unique character. The different grape varieties are then blended after malo-lactic fermetation. The blend is aged in large oak casks for 6 months, and bottling follows fining with egg-white. A deep ruby red color.
