Bright medium ruby. Aromas of cassis, blackberry, kirsch and menthol, with some sexy nutty oak tones. Suave on entry, with chocolatey-ripe merlot dominating, then dense and a bit edgy in the middle, with some distinctly animal notes, firm acidit and a restrained sweetness. Finishes with ripe tannins.
