WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Displaying the property's trademark grace and elegance, the 2004 Ch.Climens is perfectly balanced with sumptuous, honeyed fruit blendingeffortlessly with a pure core of citrussy acidity. This is a wine that deservesto be matched with the finest food, such as a rich foie gras du canard, matureComté cheese or a fresh vanilla crème brûlée;indeed, it would be a delicious choice throughout dinner with all of theabove!.

SBerry Bros & Rudd review: Often referred to as the 'Lord of Barsac', Ch. Climens can traceits history back to the 16th century and boasts an enviable 200-year-oldreputation as the finest estate in the Barsac commune. BéréniceLurton, of the famous Lurton dynasty of Bordeaux, has merely enhanced thisreputation since she took over the property in 1992. Yields are tightlyrestricted and wines are only ever made in good vintages.
