Food & WineRating: EXCELLENT Top-notch of its type - As reviewed by Food & Wine - 2009 Wine Guide on 2009. Ceretto's wines are typically tightly wound and require many years of bottle age; this Barolo, though, is always one of the winery's more early-drinking bottlings. Cedary, smokey and loaded with brambly berry fruit, it's got an opulent, oaky shimmer.
DecanterRating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Some dark cherries with spicy oak. High acidity and tannin, complex, concentrated flavours, very attractive, good length. Drink 2-5 years.
