Yet another rose whose youth informs its personality with clear berryish suggestions that here team with lemony tartness and creamy rich yeastiness. Its aromas leap from the glass and they are paralleled in flavors that are vital, fruity, zesty and yet both rich and refined. There is a touch of glycerin in the latter palate that hints at slightly elevated ripeness, and this wine, like the other pink entries here could be a tasty aperitif or held back for service with food-possibly smoked salmon o...

Bright salmon-pink with a frothy mousse. Ripe strawberry, raspberry and honeyed apple on the nose, with a suave yeastiness and a floral pungency adding complexity. Broad, fleshy and deep, offering concentrated red fruit and apple flavors kissed by dusty minerals. Surprisingly elegant for a wine from this hot vintage, with excellent finishing lift and sappy persistence. Still, while this wine has a track record for aging, I'd drink mine sooner than later.
