The 2003 vintage in the Yarra Valley was a benchmark warm and dry year, excellent for the production of cool climate reds. The 2003 Shiraz is vibrant red with purple tinges. It displays aromas of berry fruits of blackcurrant and mulberry with white pepper and spice and tasty oak overtones. The medium bodied palate offers dark berry fruits followed by a spicy, savory middle palate with soft texture, subtle tannins and a long velvety finish. Cellar for five to eight years.
