Positive smells of sweet and creamy oak are juxtaposed with far less likeable elements of saddle leather, stale walnuts and dried brush here, and, in neither its aromas nor its slightly bitter and summarily tannic flavors does this difficult-to-like Cabernet find much in the way of saving fruit.
