Deep red. Roasted red fruits, dark chocolate, smoke and truffle on the high-toned nose, along with some oaky torrefaction. Wonderfully concentrated fruit flavors of black cherry and plum are further sweetened by a hint of chocolate oak. This thick, dense blend stays sharply delineated and fresh thanks to its firm, well-integrated acids. Finishes with smooth tannins and palate-staining length.
