13% Merlot; 7% Cabernet Franc; 5% Malbec. Sweet notes of creme brulee and milk chocolate sit comfortably atop a good bit of well-ripened cherry and blackberry fruit in the nicely defined aromas of this plump and welcoming wine. On the palate, its themes are of sweet cherries and oak once again with an added accent of ripeness. Tannin comes on a bit strong at the end and a touch of heat shows at the edge, but this one is both easy to like now and still seems a sure bet to get better over the next ...

Dark red. Currant, mocha, brown spices and tobacco on the nose. Suave, silky and sweet but quite restrained in the mouth, hinting at mocha, chocolate and game. The creamy finish offers sexy nutmeg and clove spice along with a flavor of milk chocolate. Turned a bit drier as it opened in the glass.
