Medium red. Explosively aromatic nose offers soaring floral notes of rose, lavender and magnolia along with ripe blackberry and cherry tones. Lush and supple, with ripe, sweet cherry and red plum flavors that build and gain weight as the wine blossoms in the glass. The finish is impressively elegant and silky, with well-managed tannins and superb depth. One of the stars of my tastings in the south.
