Very much a wine of mixed messages, this agreeably solid young Cabernet delivers dense, black currant fruit while flirting with complexing suggestions of leather and hardwood. It dries out a touch as it goes and fights with some finishing toughness, yet it never lets go of its fruit, and a few years in bottle will certainly help it to round into shape.
