Good full ruby. Initially reduced, almost medicinal nose clears with air to reveal complex scents of blueberry, blackberry, sweet spices, licorice and tobacco. Rich and weighty on the palate, demonstrating considerable power and depth to its plush berry and smoky plum fruit flavors. Finishes extremely long, with youthful, chewy tannins of high quality.
