Solaia is a wine of massive proportion, dominated by rich black fruits, currants, minerals and a slight earthiness. Powerful yet fine grained tannins provide the framework for black fruit flavors and slight oaky hints. The palate is soft, well-balanced and lingering. This wine can be drunk immediately but has excellent ageing potential.
