Wine.comThe Rosso di Altesino is a wine designed for daily consumption by Altesino in 1989. This idea has, in its turn, been adopted by other vineyards. The wine is a blend of Sangiovese di Montalcino grapes with 20% Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine is put on the market 10 months after the harvest. The colour is ruby red. The bouquet is fresh and overwhelming with rich aromas. The taste is dry, tasty and pure. It is an inviting and undemanding drink.
