Rombauer Vineyards' 2002 Zinfandel has a lush, aromatic medley of ripe blackberries, boysenberries, and raspberries in the aroma along with light notes of pepper and spice. The wine is full flavored with an abundance of fresh, dark berry fruit and hints of currants. There is a long finish to the wine that continues to reveal subtle berry fruit nuances. It drinks well now but will improve with several years of age.
