WINEMAKER'S NOTE
75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon
This is a softer interpretation of our traditional Howell Mountain bottling with a smooth and sumptuous tannin structure, followed by a ripe, fruity finish. The aroma is alluring with elements of blackberry, green olive, black pepper, tobacco, pencil lead, and enigmatic hints of forest floor. On the palate, the abundant flavors are rich with leather, cedar and herbal notes complemented by enticing layers of raspberry, chocolate and caramelized sugar.
