WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Chateau Potensac is part of Jean-Hubert Delon's portfolio that includes Chateau Léoville Las-Cases and Chateau Nenin. The Chateau has been in the hands of the Delon family for over 250 years and since the late Michel Delon took over in the 1970's, the quality of this Cru Bourgeois has equalled that of the Grand Crus. The vineyard, planted on gravely soil, is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.
"A beautiful, value-priced effort from the Delon family..."-Wine Adv...

International Wine CellarMedium ruby-red. Currant, coffee and fresh herbs on the nose. Plump and reasonably rich but chunky, with less vibrant and less ripe fruit flavors than the 2003. Finishes with distinctly tougher tannins.
