2002 Chateau Potensac
Chateau Potensac is part of Jean-Hubert Delon's portfolio that includes Chateau Léoville Las-Cases and Chateau Nenin. The vineyard, planted on gravely soil, is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. "A beautiful, value-priced effort from the Delon family..."-Wine Adv...
International Wine CellarMedium ruby-red. Currant, coffee and fresh herbs on the nose. Plump and reasonably rich but chunky, with less vibrant and less ripe fruit flavors than the 2003. Finishes with distinctly tougher tannins.
