2002 Altesino Rosso di Montalcino
Brilliant ruby red in color with a persistent bouquet of ripened fruit. On the palate, the wine is well balanced offering cherry and plum flavors with leather on the finish. Velvety with soft tannins. Recommended with roasted red meat and game. A Tuscan favorite with rabbit cooked in a spicy tomato sauce.
