Reflecting the fantastic growing season of 2001, this is ZDs top of the line vintage Cabernet Sauvignon. All of the grapes from the winerys low yielding (1 ton per acre) Rutherford Estate Vineyard, as well as fruit from several other small, low yielding Napa vineyards are included in this deeply concentrated wine. What more can be said that hasnt been said already about the stellar 2001 vintage. Following three years of barrel aging in small American Oak barrels the wine was bottled in July 2004 and released in October.
